In this interactive workshop, experienced directors will learn about creating and maintaining a highly productive and successful relationship with their co-op's General Manager.  (GMs, successors, and aspiring GMs welcome too!)  The workshop will include:

  • ways of thinking about board-GM relationship
  • effective teaming in this context
  • characteristics of exceptional Top Leadership Teams
  • stories of successful board-GM relationships
  • and specific tools, tips, techniques for building, strengthening and maintaining good relationship

Logistical Overview of Events

This event is a full day -- we will provide participants with light breakfast and lunch as well as light snacks and beverages at breaks during the day.  The CBL 101 runs from 9:00-4:30.  Breakfast is available starting at 8:30.
